The African Union Youth Council (AUYC) Nigeria Chapter has officially inaugurated its new Executive Council in a colorful induction ceremony held recently. The event marked a significant milestone in the Council’s commitment to youth empowerment, leadership, and advocacy across the country.
Dignitaries, youth leaders, and stakeholders graced the occasion, with the Chairman, Board of Trustees of AUYC Nigeria Chapter, H. E. Amb. Prof. Tunji John Asaolu, FIDIR, FIMC, MIDPM, present to give his blessings and words of encouragement.
In his goodwill message, Amb. Prof. Asaolu commended the new executives for accepting the responsibility to serve and urged them to lead with integrity, vision, and unwavering commitment to the ideals of the African Union Youth Charter and Agenda 2063.

The induction ceremony celebrated the achievements of AUYC Nigeria Chapter so far, while highlighting the strategic direction under the stewardship of the new leaders.
Speaking at the event, Amb. Dr. Mayorkings Temisan O. Louis, the newly inducted National President, expressed his gratitude for the confidence reposed in him and his team. He reaffirmed the Council’s readiness to foster meaningful partnerships, champion youth advocacy, and drive impactful programs that align with continental and global development agendas.
